As Seen in the Irish News

Apparently, one of my tweets made it into the Irish News in April. I still think snap elections are a pretty wild maneuver for a governing body and I am indeed still jealous. This snap election business is making some Americans pretty jealous

I guess that doesn’t count as a byline. I did get quite a bit of work done over the summer, though.

Anyway, hope you’re enjoying the summer. Be excellent to each other, it’s getting weird out there.

New Stories, New Job & Podcast Ideas

I didn’t forget about this blog! I just forgot to update it, which is an entirely different thing. I’ve been working as a news editor for Comcast for the last year (as you can see on my newly-uploaded resume in the ‘resume’ section), as well as reporting for Philadelphia Gay News. I’ve also been taking a lot of workshops with the Solutions Journalism Network, which has really evolved my view of reporting and storytelling.

Check out some of the stories I’ve covered over the last few years, and let me know if there’s anything I should know about going on at bethanneboyle@gmail.com.

Also, if you have any experience with podcasting or audio editing, drop me a line. I’ve got some ideas, but I don’t know where to get started.
